On Saturday (September 27), a 57-year-old woman was the victim of a handbag theft. The woman left the supermarket on Bahnhofstraße at around 9.40 a.m. and went to the parking lot where she had parked her car. When she had just taken a seat in the vehicle and placed her handbag on the passenger seat, an unknown man knocked on her window and said that the woman had lost money in the parking lot.
She then got out of her car. A second man took advantage of this moment, opened the passenger door and took the handbag. The thieves fled in a black BMW with Hamburg license plates (HH-). Both men appeared to be from the south.
The police are now asking witnesses who made suspicious observations at the time of the crime in question to come forward.
